Shop / Kitchen / Mail Order
We are looking for friendly, sharp individuals; people who can learn about and sell our chocolates, assemble our ‘made from scratch’ desserts and make various espresso drinks. If you would like to work in a first-class environment with quality people and a well regarded product, DeBrand may be the place for you.

Our Kitchen requires people who work well, quickly and efficiently with their hands. Our thriving Mail Order Dept. also needs customer-service oriented workers with computer skills, phone skills, and the ability and desire to package shipping products, while working in a strong team atmosphere.
DeBrand is immediately hiring a motivated individual to train in both our growing Wholesale Division and our fast-paced chocolate making kitchen.  This position offers a wide variety of day to day tasks from processing wholesale orders to helping manufacture and package our gourmet chocolates, as well as occasional light office admin. work.

We are looking for top-notch, dedicated people to manage or assist in our chocolate shops, kitchen as well as our mail order dept. Kitchen Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an ambitious individual who enjoys the challenge and balance of daily administrative work and hands on production with a little customer service as well.  While a portion of your tasks are completed at a desk, this is not a desk job!  It’s a great opportunity to be an integral part of a fast paced, kitchen production facility and growing wholesale and retail departments.

Kitchen Production Staff

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our production team in our fast-paced kitchens. Qualified applicants should:

  • Work quickly and efficiently with their hands
  • Work well on their own or in a group on a production line
  • Be comfortable working on their feet all day
  • Be willing to rotate into other departments as needed
  • Be dedicated to thinking and caring about what they are doing each and every day
  • Want to have fun and challenge themselves and those around them
  • Take pride in making delicious, gourmet chocolates


Qualified candidates should:

  • Be able to comfortably lift and move cartons up to 50 lbs. many times throughout the day
  • Have a safe, clean driving record
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be comfortable working on their feet all day in a dry warehouse and in cold storage
  • Work quickly and efficiently with their hands
  • Work well in a group on a production line
  • Be dedicated to thinking and caring about what they are doing each and every day
  • Want to have fun and challenge themselves and those around them

Machine Operator
DeBrand produces only the finest gourmet chocolate products and each piece of chocolate must meet the highest standards. Responsibilities and job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Machine Operation / Setup
  • Should have a good understating of working with production machinery.
  • Should be able to work with touch screen HMI (Human/Machine Interface)
  • Should be able to take a logical approach to making appropriate machine adjustments to achieve the desired results
  • Must be able to work with basic tools to do machine tear down / cleaning / setup
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Responsible for the pace of the line production
  • Quality conscious
  • Ability to maximize efficiencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions and multitask
  • Comfortable in production and able to safely and repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • CNC machine setup and operation a plus


Machine Specialist
Oversee set up, training of operators, and day-to-day efficiencies on multiple production machines:

  • Depositing Equipment
  • Cello Overwrap
  • Enrobing
  • L-Bar Sealer and Shrink Wrapping
  • Hot Stamping
  • Inkjet Marking
  • Tamp Labeling
  • Operate each and any machine in normal production as needed
  • Supervise preventative & repairs of the above as well as other equipment in the kitchen or stores
  • Research new machine or automation solutions

Desired Skills:

  • Solid understanding of production equipment and production environments
  • Food production experience/knowledge is preferred
  • Comfortable using HMI (Human/Machine Interface)
  • Comfortable with basic tools to assist with and train machine tear down, cleaning and set up
  • Strong leadership skills

Administrative Assistant
Strong computer knowledge as well as office administrative background is required. Customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and work in a strong team-oriented atmosphere are crucial. Additional responsibilities in the chocolate shop, kitchen and mail order dept. are often necessary.
