Who is "DeBrand"?

A group of individuals who are truly passionate about the art of chocolate making.

DeBrand Fine Chocolates was founded in 1987 by artisan chocolatier, Cathy Brand. The name DeBrand came from adding the French prefix "de" (meaning "of" or "from") to her last name "Brand". Having grown up in a family renowned in the confectionery business, Cathy began making chocolates at the young age of 8 and went on to study the art extensively, traveling and training in the US, Canada and Europe.

DeBrand has grown significantly since its humble beginnings in Cathy's family's century-old home and now employs nearly 100 people with its 4 retail shops, kitchen, corporate office, and thriving Mail Order business. Regardless of how large DeBrand becomes, quality - the one standard that has always been the foundation of DeBrand - will never be sacrificed. The quality and freshness of each chocolate remains the absolute top priority. Chocolate makers meticulously hand-craft each delicate piece. Knowledgeable shoppe personnel then ensure that the chocolates they sell look and taste absolutely perfect, while Mail Order associates carefully and accurately package numerous gifts each day to be shipped promptly and safely around the world.
